The process is entirely online and can be completed in a few simple steps:

Step 1: Visit the IGNOU IOP Portal

Go to Online Admission webpage, which is the official portal for online programme admissions.

Step 2: Registration

Create a new user account with your email ID and mobile number. Verify your identity through OTP.

Step 3: Fill in the Application Form

Complete the online application with your personal details, academic history, and choice of programme.

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

You’ll need to upload:

  • Passport-size photograph
  • Signature
  • Proof of nationality (passport or national ID)
  • Academic certificates and transcripts (translated in English if needed)

Step 5: Pay the Fees

  • Medium of Instruction is primarily English. Some programmes may also be available in Hindi.
  • Study Materials are available online via eGyanKosh, SWAYAM, and mobile apps.
